Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) has joined forces with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to develop the Bonifacio Capital District, a mixed-use project in Taguig City.
According to the company’s statement to the Philippine Stock Exchange, this project aims to integrate residential, commercial, office, hotel, and recreational spaces into a cohesive and sustainable community.
“This significant initiative aligns with BCDA’s goal to create sustainable communities for businesses, residents, and commuters, while also optimizing the economic potential of our assets,” said BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang. “With RLC’s collaboration, we intend to set a standard for developments surrounding subway and railway stations within BCDA’s economic zones and properties.”
RLC Senior Vice-President and Business Unit General Manager Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio expressed the company’s enthusiasm for contributing to the area’s growth and development.
Situated on a prime 61,761-square meter property in Taguig City, the Bonifacio Capital District is designed to be a dynamic and environmentally-friendly destination estate.
The development will feature smart technology and sustainable solutions, including energy-efficient features, passive cooling architecture, and advanced Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. To maintain the area’s aesthetic and functional appeal, utilities such as power, internet, and communication lines will be installed underground.
Adjacent to the under-construction New Senate Building, the Bonifacio Capital District is strategically located near major roads, including Lawton Avenue, Chino Roces Extension, and the South Luzon Expressway, as well as schools, hospitals, and commercial centers.
Additionally, the development will be conveniently close to the Lawton station of the Department of Transportation’s Metro Manila Subway Project, enhancing accessibility for residents, tenants, and employees across Metro Manila.
The northern boundary of the property will be bordered by the planned Bonifacio South Main Boulevard, a major infrastructure project that will further improve access to key areas in Taguig, including Bonifacio Global City.
